Terms and conditions
Conditions for using the website and for requesting a stay at Hostal Groning, Trinidad, Cuba.
Updated 2026-02-22
1. Scope
This website lets you learn about Hostal Groning, a casa particular in Trinidad (Cuba) with 6 rooms, and send an availability request with an indicative quote.
2. A request is not a confirmed booking
Submitting the form is a non-binding request. The hospitality contract is only formed when you receive our email confirmation with availability, price and conditions.
3. Request number
After sending, you immediately receive a request number (format HG-…). Keep it: it is the reference for any communication with us.
4. Prices and quote
Prices are shown in euros per room, per night, as displayed in the rooms section. If you add breakfast, the quote includes €8 per person per night.
The quote generated by the website is indicative: the final price is the one confirmed by email and remains valid under the conditions communicated at confirmation.
5. Payment
Payment does not happen on the website: it is made at the house during your stay, according to the arrangements agreed in the confirmation (in cash or by the means communicated at booking).
6. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation terms and any deposits, if applicable, are stated in the email confirmation. In any case, please let us know as early as possible if you need to change or cancel, so the room can be offered to other guests.
7. Check-in, check-out and guest registry
Arrival and departure times are agreed by email at confirmation. Cuban regulations require guests to be registered: we ask you to show a valid identity document on arrival.
8. House rules
Hostal Groning is a family home: we ask for respect of quiet hours and shared spaces. Smoking and pets are only allowed as indicated in the confirmation.
9. Liability
We strive to describe the house and its services accurately; photos are real but may differ slightly due to updates at the house. We are not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure, utility outages, transport or third-party services).
10. Copyright and trademarks
The texts and photographs published belong to Hostal Groning and may not be reproduced without permission. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned remain the property of their owners.
11. Applicable law
The relationship is governed by the law applicable in Cuba. Should a dispute arise, we are committed to first seeking an amicable solution with the guest.
