Data we collect

We process only the data you choose to share with us through the booking form or by email: full name, email address, phone number (optional), country (optional), stay dates, number of guests and any special requests.

No online payments take place on this website: we never collect payment data (cards, accounts or digital wallets).

Why we use it and on what basis

We use your data to: answer your booking request, check room availability, send you your request number and the confirmation, and organise your stay.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and of the hospitality contract, plus our legitimate interest in keeping the house safe and complying with the Cuban guest-registration rules.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or advertising purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep the data for as long as needed to handle the request and the stay. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after a retention period compatible with the house's management needs; data from confirmed stays is kept in line with the applicable accounting and registration obligations.

Who it is shared with

Data is processed by Yaneisy and her direct staff, and by the technical providers strictly needed to run the website and send emails (website management system and email delivery service).

No data is sold or handed over to third parties for commercial purposes.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on the systems of hosting and email providers that may be located outside the European Union. In all cases we apply appropriate measures to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, ask for it to be rectified or erased, restrict its processing, object to it, and obtain a copy of the data you provided.

You can exercise these rights by writing to info@hostalgroning.com: we will reply as soon as possible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority of your country.

Providing data is optional

Providing the data is optional, but without a name and email address we cannot handle a booking request or reply to you.

Security

We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted website communication (HTTPS), access limited to authorised people, and storage on systems with access controls.

This policy may be updated: the update date is shown at the top of the page and any relevant change is published on this same page.
